Welcome to Nyadi Hydropower Limited

In October 2006, Butwal Power Company Limited (BPC) and Lamjung Electricity Development Company (LEDCO) had an understanding to develop Nyadi Hydropower Project (NHP) together. According to this understanding, a new company named as “Nyadi Hydropower Limited” (NHL) was established to develop Nyadi Hydropower Project in the consortium of the Butwal Power Company (98.19%) and the Lamjung Electricity Development Company Limited (1.81%). The project is being developed by Nyadi Hydropower Limited with BPC as the major stakeholder.

In FY 2078/79, Nyadi Hydropower Limited made a public issue of 4,050,000 shares to Project Affected Locals and General Public amounting NPR. 405 Million. After the public issue, the Capital structure has been changed with Promoter's holding- Butwal Power Company (71.19%) and the Lamjung Electricity Development Company Limited (1.81%). Similarly, Employees of Promoter's Sharholder(2%), Project Affected Locals & Locals of Lamjung District(10%) and General Public(including company's employee)(15%).
